In Saturday's non-league outing, the Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), by a margin of 56-33.
The Wolverines (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, North Shore smashed Mansfield (Mansfield, TX), 60-31, in a non-league outing.
The Mavericks now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Cinco Ranch for a 6A Region III District 19 outing on Tuesday, December 6. Morton Ranch will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 58-37 non-league loss to Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 12-3.
