Clear Lake Cardinals (Lakeport, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA), 70-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clear Lake upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Willits (Willits, CA) to play the Wolverines in a North Central I bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Willits lost 67-24 in their recent league bout against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 46-35 non-league loss to Cascade Christian (Medford, OR).
