The Edmonson County Wildcats basketball team (Brownsville, KY), dropped 46-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY)

The Panthers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metcalfe County for a District 16 battle on Tuesday, December 6. Cumberland County will battle a Hornets team coming off a 57-52 non-league win over Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Warren Central dropped by Northwest (Clarksville, TN), 50-41, in a non-league battle.
