Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA), 46-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lithia Springs upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Creekside (Fairburn, GA) to play the Seminoles in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Seminoles go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Creekside won 55-33 in their recent non-league bout against Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA)

Next up, the Indians play the Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. East Coweta will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 55-50 non-league loss to Temple (Temple, GA).
