With the victory, Woodson improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Edison (Alexandria, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Hornets play the James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Herndon will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 51-49 non-league win over McLean (McLean, VA).
