With the victory, Newark improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL) to play the Hawks in a Little Ten challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Lions play the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 challenge, on Monday, December 5. Lisle will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 39-31 league win over Manteno (Manteno, IL).
