Springdale Dynamos (Springdale, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nazareth Prep Saints (Pittsburgh, PA), 43-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Springdale upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Dynamos host Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA) to play the Centurions in a WPIAL 2A 4 bout on Monday, January 2. The Centurions go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Saints play the Neighborhood Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Nazareth Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
