The South Wasco County Redsides tipped the visiting Powder Valley Badgers basketball team by a final score of 54-49 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Redsides face the Lyle Cougars (Lyle, WA) in a 1A Big Sky game, on Tuesday, January 3. South Wasco County will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.

With the defeat, Powder Valley moves to 1-1 on the year. The Badgers travel to Riverside (Boardman, OR) to face the Pirates in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 28. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 1-2.
