St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX), 37-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX) to play the Bloodhounds in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bloodhounds come into the bout with a record of 4-7. St. Joseph Academy won 47-38 in their recent non-league bout against Rivera (Brownsville, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Refugio will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
