California High School Soccer - Rio Mesa nudges Victor Valley

December 3, 2022: Victorville, CA 92392

Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Victor Valley Jackrabbits (Victorville, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans face the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Rio Mesa will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Royals enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake Village, CA).

The Jackrabbits now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside Prep for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10.
