Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Del Campo Cougars (Fair Oaks, CA), 59-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Argonaut upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-2. El Dorado won 62-47 in their recent non-league bout against Union Mine (El Dorado, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Del Campo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Fighting Zebras come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 65-62 non-league win over Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
