The Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host T.W. Andrews Red Raiders to 45 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Durham for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Ben L. Smith will battle a Spartans team coming off a 62-51 non-league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.

The Red Raiders (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record.
