Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 56-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clayton Valley Charter upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Ugly Eagles host Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Berkeley lost 67-50 in their recent non-league bout against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the American Eagles (Fremont, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Newark Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
