The Sandy Creek Cougars basketball team scored 44 points and held the host David City Scouts to 29 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Doniphan-Trumbull for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20.

The Scouts (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Schuyler (Schuyler, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
