In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lowry Buckaroos basketball team scored a tight 34-27 triumph over the Pershing County Mustangs.
In their next game, the Buckaroos meet the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 8. Lowry will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 68-31 league win over Carson (Carson City, NV).
