The River Valley Falcons basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Shasta Bears to 35 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesa Verde for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. River Valley will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 60-44 non-league loss to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-3.

The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.
