In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Andrew Thunderbolts basketball team scored a big 72-50 triumph over the Argo Argonauts.
The Thunderbolts (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the SouthWest Suburban contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way East smashed Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL), 59-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Argonauts confront the Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) in a South Suburban contest, on Thursday, December 5. Argo will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Meteors go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 70-67 non-league win over Pekin (Pekin, IL).
