Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Foreman Gator Arkansas (Foreman, AR), 64-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ashdown improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Monticello (Monticello, AR) to encounter the Billies in a non-league test on Friday, December 6. The Billies come into the test with a record of 0-1. Monticello lost 60-26 in their recent non-league test against Sheridan (Sheridan, AR)

The Gator Arkansas (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette County (Stamps, AR). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Lafayette County bounced Spring Hill (Hope, AR), 67-56, in a non-league test.
