The Stratford Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Bridgeland Bears to 45 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Klein Cain for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Stratford will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 46-41 league win over Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Bridgeland falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Brenham (Brenham, TX) to play the Cubs in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Cubs go into the game with a record of 9-4.
