The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) and the host Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), observed Canyon's basketball team overwhelm Seguin by a score of 65-38.

The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, V.R. Eaton trounced Bell (Hurst, TX), 48-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Matadors battle the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Seguin will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 67-45 non-league win over Edison (San Antonio, TX).
