In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Columbia Raiders basketball team scored a big 73-11 triumph over the Lake Ridge Academy Royals.

The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Black River (Sullivan, OH). The Pirates go into the Lorain County 8 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Black River was trounced by Independence (Independence, OH), 69-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Royals battle the Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH) in a Lake Effect contest, on Thursday, December 5. Lake Ridge Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 58-42 non-league loss to Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH).
