Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) fans went home pleased Tuesday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders (Jackson, TN), 53-30 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ripley (Ripley, TN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Ripley was routed by Millington Central (Millington, TN), 56-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders encounter the Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Liberty Tech Magnet will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 55-46 non-league win over Riverside (Decaturville, TN).
