The Eastern Mennonite Flames basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Fishburne Military Caissons to 39 in the Flames league triumph on Tuesday.

The Flames now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Roanoke Catholic for a Virginia Independent game on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Fishburne Military falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Caissons host Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA) to confront the Colonels in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Colonels go into the game with a record of 1-3. Massanutten Military Academy lost 78-26 in their recent non-league game against Shenandoah Valley Academy (New Market, VA)
