The Eureka Hornets basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Roanoke-Benson Rockets to 37 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Bloomington Central Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Eureka will confront a Saints team coming off a 59-52 non-league loss to Normal West (Normal, IL). The Saints record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Roanoke-Benson falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rockets host Woodland (Streator, IL) to confront the Warriors in a Tri-County game on Thursday, December 5. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 4-1. Woodland won 78-52 in their recent non-league game against LaMoille (LaMoille, IL)
