In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs basketball team scored a good 78-65 triumph over the Ferndale Eagles.
The Cubs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors go into the Catholic Central contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Brother Rice topped Divine Child (Dearborn, MI), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Ferndale will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Pilots go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 76-66 non-league loss to Groves (Beverly Hills, MI).
