In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Grayling Vikings basketball team scored a close 59-57 triumph over the Houghton Lake Bobcats.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Rayders go into the Lake Michigan contest with a 1-1 record.
