The Horizon Prep Lions basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Mountain Empire Redhawks to 39 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Borrego Springs for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Horizon Prep will confront a Rams team coming off a 70-12 non-league loss to Hamilton (Anza, CA). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Mountain Empire falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA) to confront the Frogs in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Frogs enter the battle with a record of 0-4. Guajome Park Academy lost 80-36 in their recent non-league battle against Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA)
