Michigan High School Basketball - Ithaca holds off Standish-Sterling

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Ithaca Yellowjackets basketball team scored a close 54-52 triumph over the Standish-Sterling Panthers.
The Yellowjackets (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Cardinals go into the Tri-Valley - Blue contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Michigan Lutheran Seminary nipped Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI), 59-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Ogemaw Heights Falcons (West Branch, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Standish-Sterling will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 64-49 league loss to Gladwin (Gladwin, MI).
