Texas High School Basketball - John Paul II triumphant over Varsity Opponent

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX) and the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), observed John Paul II's basketball team overwhelm Varsity Opponent by a margin of 72-35.

The Guardians (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Southwest trounced Southside (San Antonio, TX), 75-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the battle the Suburban Christian Crusaders (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Varsity Opponent will attempt to better on its 82-371 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 72-39 league win over Heritage Hall Christian (Muncie, IN).
