In Tuesday's league contest, the host Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored a good 61-48 triumph over the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons go into the A Section 1 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Fillmore Central was toppled by Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN), 62-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Wabasha-Kellogg will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Gophers go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 81-55 non-league win over Rochester Math and Science Academy (Rochester, MN).
