The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph Spartans (Natrona Heights, PA) and the host Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA), observed St. Joseph's basketball team overcome Leechburg by a margin of 54-39.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Springdale (Springdale, PA). The Dynamos come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Springdale defeated Cornell (Coraopolis, PA), 82-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Aquinas Academy Crusaders (Gibsonia, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 4. Leechburg will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 89-82 non-league loss to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA).
