The Padua Franciscan Bruins basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Normandy Invaders to 44 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bruins now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Padua Franciscan will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 62-58 non-league win over Berkshire (Burton, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Normandy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Invaders travel to Westlake (Westlake, OH) to confront the Demons in a Cleveland West game on Friday, December 6. The Demons go into the game with a record of 1-0. Westlake won 63-57 in their recent non-league game against Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH)
