The Starks Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting South Beauregard Knights to 71 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Burkeville for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Starks will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 44-24 non-league win over Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, South Beauregard falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Hicks (Leesville, LA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 9-3. Hicks won 68-65 in their recent non-league game against Florien (Florien, LA)
