The Golden Demons basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Lakewood Tigers to 35 in the Demons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Demons now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Golden will confront a Eagles team coming off a 55-22 non-league loss to Arapahoe (Centennial, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Lakewood falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Westminster (Westminster, CO) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 1-0. Westminster won 43-27 in their recent non-league game against Adams City (Commerce City, CO)
