The Sardis Lions basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Alexandria Valley Cubs to 31 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Douglas for a 5A Area 13 game on Friday, December 6. Sardis will confront a Eagles team coming off a 51-16 non-league loss to Cherokee County (Centre, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Alexandria falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Valley cubs host Ashville (Ashville, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-4.
