Washington, DC High School Basketball - Banneker holds off Archbishop Carroll

The Banneker Bulldogs basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Archbishop Carroll Lions to 35 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Friendship Collegiate Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Banneker will confront a Knights team coming off a 59-36 non-league loss to Eastern (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Archbishop Carroll falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions host The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD) to confront the Tartans in a Washington Catholic game on Thursday, December 5. The Tartans go into the game with a record of 1-0. The Academy of the Holy Cross won 64-23 in their recent non-league game against Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD)
