The Winston Red Birds basketball team scored 28 points and limited the host Breckenridge Bulldogs to 26 in the Red Birds non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Birds now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Pattonsburg for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Winston will confront a Panthers team coming off a 58-43 non-league loss to Worth County (Grant City, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Breckenridge falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Tri-County (Jamesport, MO) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 1-0. Tri-County won 48-26 in their recent non-league game against Tina-Avalon (Tina, MO)
