The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) and the host Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), observed Lakeland's basketball team overwhelm Franklin by a margin of 71-17.

The Cavaliers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, New Kent was trounced by Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA), 56-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Franklin will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
