The Woodford County Yellowjackets basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds to 34 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Spencer County for a District 30 game on Friday, December 6. Woodford County will confront a Bears team coming off a 55-22 non-league win over Seneca (Louisville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Harrison County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Thorobreds host Estill County (Irvine, KY) to confront the Engineers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Engineers go into the game with a record of 0-0.
