The Mountain Brook Spartans basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Huntsville Panthers to 20 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hartselle for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Mountain Brook will confront a Tigers team coming off a 40-11 non-league win over Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Huntsville falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-10. Oak Mountain lost 72-36 in their recent non-league game against Chelsea (Chelsea, AL)
