The Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV) basketball were winner over the host Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV), 50-36 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Awaken Christian for a 2A Southern bout on Tuesday, December 10. Laughlin will play a Lions team coming off a 54-33 league loss to GV Christian (Henderson, NV). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Indian Springs falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Pinecrest Academy Cadence lost 48-18 in their recent non-league bout against Green Valley (Henderson, NV)
