In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Riverview Pirates basketball team scored a good 54-34 triumph over the Inter-City Baptist Chargers.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels go into the Huron challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary Catholic Central prevailed over Trenton (Trenton, MI), 38-14, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes (Wixom, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Inter-City Baptist will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Athletes come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 41-37 non-league win over South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI).
