Indiana High School Basketball - Jay County overwhelmed by Northeastern

December 3, 2024: Portland, IN 47371

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) basketball squad trounced the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), by a final score of 60-33.

Next, the Knights clash with the Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, IN) in a Tri-Eastern test, on Friday, December 6. Northeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 64-16 league loss to Union County (Liberty, IN).

The Patriots (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Fort Recovery was overwhelmed by St. Henry (St. Henry, OH), 44-42, in a league test.
