The Pahoa Daggers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Kea'au Cougars to 16 in the Daggers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Daggers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Honoka'a for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Pahoa will confront a Dragons team coming off a 44-40 league loss to Ka'u (Pahala, HI). The Dragons record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Kea'au falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hawaii Prep (Kamuela, HI) to confront the Ka Makani in a Big Island game on Saturday, December 7. The Ka Makani go into the game with a record of 1-3. Hawaii Prep won 35-12 in their recent league match against Christian Liberty Academy (Kea'au, HI)
