Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Panther Valley bested by Mahanoy Area

The Panther Valley Panthers basketball squad (Lansford, PA), was topped 54-45 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Mahanoy Area Golden Bears (Mahanoy City, PA)

The Golden Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA). The Green Wave come into the Schuylkill County 2 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Nativity BVM was topped by Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA), 59-3, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 contest, on Friday, December 6. Panther Valley will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
