In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Maple River Eagles basketball team scored a big 72-30 triumph over the Medina/Pingree-Buchanan .
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers go into the AA Section 2 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was trounced by Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the battle the Oakes Tornadoes (Oakes, ND) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Medina/Pingree-Buchanan will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tornadoes go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock (Linton, ND).
