North Carolina High School Basketball - Sanderson knocks off Apex

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Sanderson Spartans basketball team scored a good 38-28 win over the Apex Cougars.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Fuquay - Varina was topped by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 42-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Apex will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
