In Tuesday's non-league test, the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), by a score of 50-35.

Next, the Lions clash with the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 6. Covenant Day will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 4-0 record after their 66-20 league win over Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC).

The Crusaders (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Pine Lake Prep went down by Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 59-41, in a non-league test.
