Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), 53-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cox Mill advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Chargers travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-3.
The Mountaineers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincolnton for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6.
