The Kennedy Crusaders basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting UIC College Prep Firecats to 42 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Little Village for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Kennedy will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 47-11 non-league win over Foreman (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, UIC College Prep falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Firecats travel to Intrinsic (Chicago, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-2. Intrinsic lost 30-19 in their recent non-league game against Mather (Chicago, IL)
